After the exciting day of swimming breakthroughs, the parents from the group went on a sunset cruise on an antique skipjack.
Laurie's parents and one of the other families were nice enough to stay behind and watch the kids for us. From what I understand there was storytelling and crafts and even a movie.
The weather was absolutely perfect.
And the ship was beautifully restored.
It was a great way to relax and get to know the other families a little better. One thing I can say for sure is that we travel well together. Whether we are in China or a U.S. city or a boat, we seem to get along with each other very well and get around. We consider ourselves very lucky to have met such a great group of people.
As it got darker we started to head back to the house.
And Chris got to work, yeah right.
As we got closer to the dock we saw some familiar little figures clad in pajamas.
They were holding lanterns guiding our way back home.
They were so happy to see us. Isn't that the cutest thing ever?
